About Us

Our Mission

The idea for queixate.pt emerged within the Local Coordination Group of Iniciativa Liberal in Póvoa de Varzim, upon identifying the lack of effective means to register and follow up on complaints related to the functioning of public spaces. By listening to and observing the reality of different parishes, the group realised that this difficulty was not an isolated case, but a need shared by many communities.

From this was born the desire to create a practical and accessible response. Thus queixate.pt was created: a platform developed to bring citizens closer to local authorities and make communication simpler, more transparent and participatory.

The platform allows anyone to report problems in their municipality — from potholes to faulty street lighting — simply, quickly and effectively.
